KID SAFE PREVIEW
A Kids Safe Preview can:
- Increase your knowledge of how your child / children are using the family computer
As a parent, or guardian, you are accountable for the use of the computer by your child.
- Not be thought of as "spying", it's responsible parenting in an age-of-technology.
- Assist with reviewing E-mails, Instant Messages, document files, website
- history (i.e. MySpace), chat logs, buddy lists and more.
- Assist you with locating a child who has run away, been lured away, or with
- concerns of one who may. If this has occurred already - call 911.
- Inform and educate you about protecting your child while on the Internet from
- online predators.
- Assist with the development of open communication with your child about
- online safety, setting of limits and cyber-bullying.
- Assist with responding when you're told "I'm just on the computer!" but you
- think there is a concern. You are accountable for your child's actions.
